The Mark Dupuy Invitational Basketball Skills Camp

This past summer, Vibe CEO Mark Dupuy sponsored a basketball skills camp to provide local children with the opportunity to improve their skills. Mark is always looking for great ways to help give back to the community and saw this as a great way to help some talented individuals who might not be as fortunate to grow in the sport they enjoy playing. Mark was very happy with the experience as he explains, “It was definitely a rewarding chance to not only be able to help others, but to get to see the kids pick up on the new skills so quickly as well."

Campers received basketball coaching, basketball skills training, parental information to support their camper’s basketball growth, and individual and team play instructions. It was a great overall experience that gave fifth through 8th graders a well-rounded look into what their future with the sport could look like. Thankful for the connections we were able to form from going to Morrow High School together, and grateful for the help from Coach Simmons, Coach Tre’Goss, Coach Cam, and many others.

Pastor and Coach James Livingston who organized and operated the camp had nothing but positives to say about the experience. He said, “ We are so grateful to have a successful entrepreneur like Mark Dupuy take time out of his busy schedule to not only travel here, but make such a positive impact on our community. We definitely look forward to growing this event in the future. "

All in all, seeing that we were able to make such a positive impact in the lives of so many in the community made the whole experience worth it.
